Our adoption policy
We are looking for quality, long term homes with responsible owners. We are looking for indoor homes for our small animals, although we recommend keeping small animals indoors as a general rule for their longevity and ultimate safety. If, for some reason, you can no longer keep your Versa Pet Rescue pet , adopters agree to return the animal to contact us first, If room permits we will take it back in order to avoid having them surrendered to a traditional shelter where their chances of survival are slim. IF room does not permit it remains the owner responsibility to find home ( we will help).
Adoption Fee.
Here at Versa Pet Rescue the adoption fee set at 0 . With that said we rely solely on the generosity of others to help us, by making a donation of any amount, so that we will be able to keep on helping these wonderful creatures. Rest assured, every penny that comes into Versa Pet Rescue is put directly to use saving lives.
We encourage every adopter to adopts to make a donation as the veterinary costs and general care costs are overwhelming.
Please note if donations do not come in numbers or in generous amounts, we will have to adjust our adoption fee, or sadly we will no longer be capable of taking in pets in need of our help.

General Health info.
Most of our animals, will have had the vaccine they required to the present time, it is possible that the adopted animal may need further vaccination after adoption due to the veterinarian protocol (one month between booster) .
All the animal will have received a basic Deworming, and if needed a parasite control.
Most of our animals up for adoption have either been spayed/neutered already by our veterinarian or, as in the case of a pup, kitten or special cases up to the new owner to do within the first year of owning the animal.
Some may not have all of the above vet care due to lack of funds!

Foster Homes Needed
We do not have a shelter facility and rely solely on the kindness of people willing to foster cats and kittens for us until we can place them into their forever homes.
Foster homes are needed year round, they are our lifeblood, without foster homes our rescue would not exist.
If you are interested in being a foster home please filled out the contact Us form
